Long standing, independent title insurance company has career opportunities in its branch office locations for smart, motivated individuals to join our Closing team. The Closing Officer is responsible to provide professional service coordinating and performing tasks for the real estate closing process to provide the customer with a clear title. The Closing Officer supervises the work of the Closing Assistant. Oversees the pre-closing, closing, and post-closing functions on the file and assumes responsibility for accuracy throughout the process. Balances the closing statement, schedules the closing appointment & prepares documentation needed to facilitate the closing, presides over the closing, and prepares closing documents pursuant to the issuance of title insurance. Collects, verifies, & disburses funds, and balances the closing file to zero.
