Director of Sales. Long standing, independent real estate title insurance agency has a career opportunity for a smart, self-motivated, and resourceful individual to head our Sales Department. This position reports to the President.
The Director of Sales is responsible to:
Develop, execute, & analyze all sales programs to achieve stated objectives.
Provide vision and leadership for the Sales Team - train, coach, supervise, etc.
Collaborate with each Branch Manager and Account Executive to support branch growth, sales initiatives, and quality of delivery of service.
Research & analyze financial and demographic factors to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitor competitive sales activities.
Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, and key community/strategic partners.
Develop & manage the sales operating budget.
Plan and oversee execution of advertising and promotion activities including, print, social media, etc.
Determine suppliers and negotiate terms and conditions.
Oversee development, production, and distribution of promotional materials to support sales programs.
Review analysis of sales surveys/data and make recommendations to increase effectiveness.
Ensure preparation of sales activity reports, post event reports, analysis, and regular status reports.
Plan, promote, and execute sales meetings and community and goodwill events.
Candidates must have a professional presentation with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The position requires someone who is reliable and adaptable with a strong commitment to teamwork. He/she must have a valid state driver’s license, current automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental knowledge of the title insurance industry, possess an understanding of real property sales, as well as a general knowledge of State title insurance regulations. In addition, he/she has experience managing direct reports in multiple locations and is capable of providing oversight and accountability while inspiring growth and achievement. Minimum 5 years experience
